Packaging

We do our absolute best in being completely plastic free and supporting companies that support sustainable methods. All our packaging is biodegradable and recyclable, including our jewellery boxes.

All our jewellery boxes are made of FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue. The FSC® mark guarantees that all materials come from an FSC® forest, where no more wood is cut down than the forest can reproduce. This means better protection of the animal and plant life, and all foresters have proper training, safety equipment and a decent wage. You will find these marks on your packaging.

Our jewellery boxes do not contain tarnish-accelerating chemicals. They have been designed to keep your jewellery bright, shiny, and tarnish-free for longer so please do keep your jewellery in its packaging if possible!

Any bubblewrap found in larger parcels has been reused from packages we have received and for larger deliveries we may reuse boxes in a way to promote recycling. If possible please keep postal packaging and reuse it for personal use, its important we all try to consume less and recycle where possible to help Mother Earth.

Our Suppliers

We buy all of our smudge kits and woods from Fluorescent ranch; a woman owned company whose products are either hand picked and made by themselves or directly purchased from Native American and indigenous communities only. All woods and herbs are sustainably grown with no chemicals or pesticides, and are harvested honouring traditional wisdom. Being non-native ourself, we dedicate ourselves to purchasing such items that support indigenous communities only.

The meaning behind No.9

The number 9 is considered to be the number of completion and that everything comes back to the 3 x 3 rule, aka the three fold law or law of return. It states that whatever energy a person puts out into the world, be it positive or negative, will be returned to that person three times. In Hindu literature this is known as the threefold Karma ~ our energy comes our way as many times as needed for us to learn the lesson associated with it.

The Biblical number 9 is the number of judgement. It also means fruit of spirit or the divine completeness from the father. Nine is the ultimate which contains the forces of all other numbers.

Biblical number 9 stands for a complete cycle of growth.

We spend 9 months in the womb, the total amount of time for our own creation.

In Hinduism 9 is the number of Brahma, the creator and the 9th day of the Chinese New Year is the birthday of the Jade Emperor who is the supreme god worshipped by the Taoists.

In the Tarot no. 9 is The Hermit which symbolises self examination and reflection.

In Chinese 9 is a lucky number meaning long lasting and eternity.

Gods and goddesses associated with the number nine include Juno the Roman Goddess of Abundance, Luna the Roman Goddess of the Moon and Odin the Father Creator in Norse mythology.
